A mildly hopeful Fourth of July post.
The other day, I attended the wedding of two extraordinarily wealthy people. The ceremony was held in their multi-million-dollar Beverly Hills mansion. Technically, this mansion is their second home. I’d hate to see the first. The phrase the admiring guests whispered throughout the evening was this: “No mortgage. Paid cash.”
