Genesis, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel I’m familiar with, but I don’t know this Ah-Mose. Now, A-Muhs, I know, though sometimes where I grew up he was Hay-Muhs. But that could have been the cookie guy. I know it wasn’t the guy whose brother was Andy. We didn’t watch that shit.

Powerful message aside, your production is superb -- absolutely perfect music, wild eclectic mix of visuals, still and animated. Do you produce these yourself, Shalom? If so, congratulations! What talent! As for the liars, the same syndrome is more strongly in place today than ever. Repeat a lie a thousand times in public and it becomes truth. (Must be true...everyone is saying it...) Morons: God made them and they find each other...

I do. Whoever designed Adobe Premiere should rot in hell.

Wait a minute. Is there a hell?

It's Los Angeles.

Oh, yeah. Right. I thought I had been in hell a few times, but couldn't remember how I got there. I do remember WHY, however.

I was just musing on this the other day. The presumption we make that God is good and if that's wishful thinking supported by confirmation bias. (I don't actually think this but then again, maybe that's just my wishful thinking and confirmation bias.)

The irony in the stories of Sodom and Gomorrah as portrayed in Genesis was that they were actually destroyed by an event similar to Chelyabinsk, but likely larger. Research over the past 15 or so years has confirmed the event, and is ongoing. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/destruction-of-city-by-space-rock-may-have-inspired-biblical-story-of-sodom-180978734/

Thus, your commentary has legs. Thanks!

Aw, Shalom honey, you know God relies on brave boys just like you to condemn the Sodomizers.

I would like to think God has had his hands full in keeping his Wife from taking matters into Her own hands. Should he yield to Her fury, you will definitely need a bigger boat!

Bravo. Laugh out loud at the truth and shake the hand of the one with the courage to say it!

Although I’d prefer a more descriptive term for god than “pussy,” something less aligned with women, like “craven” or “cowardly beast”

I get it, Michele. My wife says the same thing - she insists we should use "testicle" as an insult for weak, since they're more fragile, ie "Because God's a fucking testicle." My understanding, however, is that "pussy" has nothing to do with women or female genitalia, but derives from the word "pusillanimous," meaning lack of courage. There's more than one meaning, of course, but for me to not use it because people think it refers to women or female genitalia when that's not the meaning I'm after would be, well - pusillanimous of me. Or testicular, if you prefer.

Maybe pusilla? He’s a pusilla? Then we can think cowardly and pus at the same time, a winning combination.

I was going to say the same thing as Michele, since mostly what we think of when we hear the word "pussy" is, well, female genitalia. I've never seen any definitions that indicate it comes from pusillanimous. So I too would prefer a different term. But I'll let it go this time because I'm delighted to see a new episode of Ungodly, and am solidly with you on all the rest of the message!
